D3.js is a library for data visualisation, which has since its invention by Mike Bostock at the NY Times Data Lab become the gold standard of data visualisation facilitation tools.  I thought d3.js at several universities such as ARCADA in Finland, IE in Spain and NOVA in Portugal among others, please find the teaching material including the presentation and all code examples in this GITHUB repository
