AI ethical challenges 

 

I taught remotely ethical uses of machine learning practice, which is a fundamental precondition to trustworthy development of AI at the University Arcada (Finland) .

Learnings
Not having worked with advanced statistics and machine learning for some time, I updated my knowledge respectively for the course. As the main topic are recommender engines, I also learnt how to create models in python. On the other hand, I read a lot of books and research papers about the ethical problems and errors when using AI.

Challenges

I also developed the syllabus for the course, as it was quiet new in this format, also defining the final project which had to be advanced but doable for the students.
